editing

We are all editing our scenes and making sure we are up to date with paper work. We are working well as a team. I am editing at home which is going well as i can see how i want it and also communicate with my group and how we want the film to look.

Actors

I have had to remove the role of Tobias as Chris Kenna never bothered to show up on all 3 dates of filming. We had a back up who also couldn't make the days. This is very unfortunate but i am looking at it in the most positive way i can. I am re writing my script to ajust so that Tobias is not in the story any more. I am quite upset but i can make the script still as good without him. I sent Chris an emaily saying i was disapointed and he failed to contact me back.

We are all editing and making sure we have all production paper work. It is a lot more organized now.

I am in the middle of editing and also finalizing storyboards. Also i am collecting the signatures from the actors and location owners for the paperwork.

I am happy with these people as our actors as they all fit the part well!

Organized

The group had a talk yesterday as the atmosphere was tense. We had a discussion about previos filming dates and i got called disorganized. I admit, i got stressed out slightly how the actors were letting me down, but i did assign production roles to everyone. I hold my hands up and agree, its my fault the group hasn't stuck together but we make mistakes and learn from them. Yesterday and today i have been noting down planning schedule and roles for the next filming date. Everything is written down and well organized and the group seems a lot happier and a lot more as one. I am happy with my group and i am happy with the honesty that when one of us is not happy, we let the rest of the group know. We are filming on the 14th Feb at 10.00am till around 1.00pm. This is our last filming date and i have changed the production roles slightly as i think it would be good practice for everyone to get their hands on a different role for one scene or two.

We are also assigning roles for over the holidays to do with paper work. The group is a lot more organized and everyone knows what is going on and is in the loop!

I am much happier with how things are working out!

actor

We still need an actor for Tobias. Our second mandy.com post has proven popular and we have a few more people to look at. Also our origional Tobias got back to me and said he has been hospitalized recently which is why we had no contact. Now we have to decide who we actually want as Tobias.

Filming

We only have two more scenes to film and we can begin to edit! It has been really fun filming my script however we have had trouble with one actor as he has not been showing up and has blocked contact with us. This has lead to us to create another Mandy post to find a quick replacement actor as we are desperate. We have acted fast and profeshional.

production

We have filmed two of my scenes! It went really well and i enjoyed shooting it. We filmed the two scenes which had the most actors in so that we could get the busy scenes out the way and focus more on the emotional and lonely scenes.
I was the director and also helped out with the camera. I enjoyed being hands on with the camera and also telling Katy and Kat which shot i wanted and how i wanted it. Katy was the main camera operator and did a great job with her own input. Kat did well with the sound too especially as we were all worried the zoom was not going to work. She had a lot to hold and managed to get great quality sound. Brett sat with the actors who were not in the scene being filmed and i suppose, kept them company whilst me, Kat and Katy filmed.
The actors were very friendly. Scott Ball who was the solicitor in my script was excellent with his lines and put in a great preformance. Also the poilceman, Emmanuel was a great person to shoot! He put in his own input and made the best of his character. The two main females, Amy and Emily were very bubbly and happy when we were filming and both put in an wonderful preformance. They both adapted and created my character to life and made them seem real.
I am happy with how the film is coming along and cannot wait to film it all and edit it!

lets start filming!

I have been completing my story board and also writing some extra last minute notes on my script so i am fully prepared for filming on monday. All of our actors have confirmed that we can film on that day and we have discussed times.

We are sorting out all our paperwork to email to the actors and hopefully give it to them over the weekend!
